Vacation Bible School 2025 held August 11-14 from 4:30 - 7:30. We traveled back in time to Egypt and followed Joseph from prison to palace. We played fun games, sang energetic songs, and in the Marketplace, the kids made lotion, Egyptian collars, bricks, beaded bracelets and necklaces, just to name a few. The kids tied 10 polar fleece blankets for area children in need. On the last day, we had a petting zoo in the church yard, which was a huge success. The kitchen crew again did a fabulous job of serving nutritious meals that the kids enjoy. We had an average of 35 children in attendance, as well as many adult and youth helpers. We again had Thrivent Grants to purchase curriculum, materials, and food. We were also able to give each family a CD of the music. We collected $215.52 for homeless people in the area. Following the week, the crew leaders sent notes to the kids, expressing how great it was that they attended, and inviting them to Sunday school. It was a wonderful time! Thanks to everyone who helped make it happen! See 2025 VBS photos below.
