Children's Message
The singers of Bethany Lutheran Church of Cushing and Bethel Lutheran of Little Falls recently combined efforts under the direction of Joan Wingert to present the Cantata "Godspell at Christmas" at both Bethel (on Dec. 11) and at Bethany (above on Dec. 18).
This young lady, wearing a Bethany t-shirt, is standing in front fo the Community center building that we have been constructing the past four years.

Our very first ever sighting of a leopard during our 2-day game safari at
Ruhua National Game Refuge in Iringa Province, Tanzania.

The community center in Mlangali that we have been building the past four years. People are lined up waiting to be seen by one of the two nurses that were along on our trip. There was this number of people waiting for both of the two days they held the clinic in Mlangali.
Money provided by Minnesota donations provided supplies, such as 27 sacks of cement (all on roof); 40 sheets of corrugated metal roofing, re-bar rods for cement work; a new wheelbarrow, other concrete hand tools and many other items that were needed either for the village or to further the construction of the community center.
Ruth Nordstrom was one happy nurse, you can tell why, I think!
